My new smoking buddy
I have an offset smoker with which I've been using two cabled temperature probes which plug into a little box and Bluetooth connect to my smartphone and they've been great. For my birthday my parents-in-law gifted to me the INT-11P-B from Inkbird which has been a game changer for me and elevated the way I smoke food now plus I only need open the lid of my smoker now if I'm using a mop sauce. The user interface of the Inkbird app is fabulous clearly displaying ambient, internal and target temperature plus the trend option is very helpful as are all the pre listed food types. My Inkbird INT-11P-B is my new best smoking buddy!

We are a competition BBQ team who use INKBIRD products in our competition and home cooks. I recently purchased the INKBIRD INT-12-BW which is their two wireless probe thermometer. Owning 7 different INKBIRD models, I really like that the app on my phone instantly recognized this model and allowed me to add it with very little effort. Once added to the app, it gave me all of the great features and options for the wired models that I own have. You can select the preset cooking settings for the protein you are cooking or you can choose to customize your preferred cooking settings like temp, time and notification options. Probe charging is easy. Just set the probes back into the main unit of the thermometer and they will charge until done. The first cook I used this for was a competition brisket test cook. The wireless probe was accurate in its temperature reporting. I found that you did need to keep the main unit close to the cooker or it would lose the bluetooth signal so keep that in mind when using this model. If you use the app on your phone, this will give you a bit more distance in being able to manage your cooks and receive constant temp readings. If cooking any proteins which require cooking beyond 205 degrees F, the INKBIRD INT-12-BW will not read past this temp and will go into a high temp alert. I think it is due to the battery in the probe and is a safety mechanism built into their firmware. Overall I really like the construction, quality and accuracy of this model and would recommend this to others with no hesitation.

Bought these INKBIRD thermometer to replace an old pair of thermometer which I won’t mention their name. So far the INKBIRD has performed great. Very accurate and no communication issues. . hope they last
